Here at Marro, we are obsessed with our community's cats. So when we decided we needed an official Marro meow, we thought...what better way to source a Marro meow than in a fun, online competition?

If you want to participate but don't have an Instagram or a TikTok account to post your entry on, this article will give you a simple step by step guide so that you can create a profile.
By the way: it's totally fine for you to have an anonymous profile with no other content on it. We will not weigh the number of followers or past activity on social media as a factor in judging the best Marro meow. We are simply using social media as the place where we can share, shortlist, and vote on the best meows.
How to create a TikTok account
Download the TikTok app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
Open the app.
Choose a sign-up method, then follow the steps to create your account.
Important things to know about creating a TikTok account:
• Make sure your email and phone number are valid as they're needed for log-in and password recovery.
• Each phone number, email address and social media account can only be linked to one TikTok account.
• Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) are not supported sign-up methods. If you previously signed up for a TikTok account using X, you may still be able to log in.

Create a new Instagram account
Download the Instagram app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
Once the app has been installed, tap Instagram logo to open it.
Tap Create new account and enter your email address or mobile number, then tap Next. Note: If you sign up using email, make sure that you enter your email address correctly and choose an email address that only you can access. If you log out and forget your password, you'll need to be able to access your emails to get back in to your Instagram account.
Enter the confirmation code sent to your email address or mobile number, then tap Next.
Create a password, then tap Next.
Enter your birthday, then tap Next.
Add your name, then tap Next.
Create a username, then tap Next.
Read Instagram's terms and policies, then tap I agree, if you agree to the terms, to create your account.
